My Toshiba Satellite Pro Won't Read DVD-ROM

    • 1). Click on the "Start" menu and then "Control Panel."

    • 2). Click on "System and Maintenance" in the control panel. Click on "System."

    • 3). Click on the "Hardware" tab and then click "Device Manager."

    • 4). Click on the CD/DVD-ROM drive option and click on it so that it is highlighted.

    • 5). Right-click on the CD/DVD-ROM drive option, and then click "Properties."

    • 6). Click "Enable" in the properties menu and then click "OK."

    • 7). Restart your computer by clicking "Start" and then "Restart." Once your computer has booted, your Toshiba Satellite Pro DVD-ROM drive will be enabled.
