How to Password-Protect Photos on an iPhone With Cydia
- 1). Download and install the PhotoAlbums+ app through the Cydia repository system on your iPhone. PhotoAlbums+ integrates with the native picture management system on the iPhone.
- 2). Navigate to your albums on the iPhone. Hit the small "+" in the upper-right corner to create a new photo album.
- 3). Name the new album, and then hit the small lock in the upper-right corner of the album naming screen. This will expand the naming screen to include a space where you can provide a password.
- 4). Type in the password that you wish to use in the appropriate space, and then retype the password in the next space down. Press the "Save" button.
- 5). Navigate to the photos that you want to password-protect, and hit the "Action" button in the upper-right corner. Select the photos that you want to move to the password-protected folder.
- 6). Press the "Move" button on the upper-left of the screen. From the list of albums, select your password-protected album.
- 7). Enter your password for the password-protected album. Doing anything with a password-protected album, including moving pictures in to it, will require that you enter a password.
- 8). Click on "Open" to confirm your password; the photos will all be moved to the password-protected album.
