How to Connect Audio to a Video Card
- 1). Look at your video card, and inspect the ports on the exterior. Look for a red and white RCA cable port. The ports are circular with a single input hole in the middle. If you do not have these ports, you cannot connect audio to the video card.
- 2). Plug the red and white RCA cables into the two RCA cable ports on the video card.
- 3). Connect the other end of the RCA cables to the device you want to send the audio signal from.
- 4). Launch the software associated with the video card. Video cards with multiple inputs and audio inputs often have capture software that allow you to record the content from the connected device. Once the software is open, you can begin the playback of the audio content and record it directly to your computer.
