How to Remove or Disable a Tool Bar

    Mozilla Firefox

    • 1). Open the Firefox menu by clicking on the orange icon at the top left of the screen.

    • 2). Hover your mouse pointer over the "Options" category to expand it. Firefox shows you a list of the toolbars that you have installed.

    • 3). Click on the name of a toolbar to de-select it. Firefox automatically disables that toolbar.

    Microsoft Internet Explorer

    • 1). Click on the "cogwheel" icon to open Internet Explorer's main menu.

    • 2). Select the "Manage add-ons" option.

    • 3). Click on "Toolbars and Extensions" in the "Add-on Types" column.

    • 4). Click on the toolbar you wish to remove from Internet Explorer. Then click on the "Disable" button.

    • 5). Click on "Disable" in the new window to fully disable the toolbar.
