Because the touchpad looks as though it is simple, many people assume it is inferior to using a mouse or any other navigational tool to move about your computer. The truth is, the touchpad not only can perform the normal tasks of a mouse, but it also features a few tricks that are unique to the touchpad. - Though it seems like there is not a right click on the touchpad, you do not have to hold the control key to perform a right click. Instead, by clicking with two fingers at the same time, you can right click any item with a touchpad.
- Placing two fingers on the touchpad and then spreading them apart allows you to zoom in. Doing the reverse allows you to zoom out. The technique allows you to take a look at anything you want in more detail in one swift movement.
- Rotating an image often require you to open up a program or use a tool. If you have a touchpad, you can choose a faster root. If you place your thumb on the touchpad and then rotate a second finger around it, you can rotate an image.
