How to Find a WPA Password
- 1). Open Internet Explorer and navigate to your router's configuration website, and then enter your router's username and password. If you did not set a username and password, the router has default information for this:
Linksys/3Com: http://192.168.1.1 Username: "admin" Password: "admin"
Netgear: http://192.168.0.1 Username: "admin" Password: "password"
D-Link: http://192.168.0.1 Username: "admin" Password: none
Microsoft Broadband: http://192.168.2.1 Username: "admin" Password: "admin" - 2). Open "Wireless" or "Wireless Settings."
- 3). Locate "WPA Security Key" on the page; the passphrase is located under that. You can also change the passphrase.
- 4). Click "Apply" or "Save" to save your password (if applicable).
