    • 1). Click the Windows "Start" button and right-click the "Computer" icon. Select "Properties" to view your desktop configurations.

    • 2). Click the "Computer Name" tab if you are using an older operating system like Windows XP. If you have Vista or Windows 7, the "Computer Name" section is near the bottom of the opened window.

    • 3). View the section labeled "Full Computer Name." This includes your LDAP name. It is formatted like a domain name. For instance, if the computer is "MyComputer," then the LDAP name listed is "MyComputer.MyDomain.com."
