How to Remove Folder Options From a Computer

    • 1). Click "Start."

    • 2). Click "Computer."

    • 3). Click "Tools."

    • 4). Click "Folder Options."

    • 5). Click "View." This will display a listing of the folder options that are available for your computer. A listing with a check mark next to its name is currently enabled. Find the folder option you'd like to disable, then remove the check mark. Click "Apply" to remove that folder option from your computer. Conversely, if you change your mind, re-enter the View list and re-check the option you wish to enable.
