How to Restore the System State With NetVault

    • 1). Click the Windows "Start" button on the computer where NetVault is installed. Select "All Programs," then click "BakBone" and then click the "NetVault" shortcut. This opens your software.

    • 2). Click the "Restore" button on the main console window. Click the target where your backup files are stored. For instance, if you save your files on the "D" drive, click this drive.

    • 3). Double click the latest backup listed. The list is sorted by date, so the usual choice when restoring your system state is the latest backup created on the external media.

    • 4). Click "Perform a Rollback." Click the "Restore Options" tab. This shows you an additional list of options for your backup.

    • 5). Check "Live Restore" in the options, then click the "Restore" button. The system state copies from your backup to your system drive. This takes several minutes to complete.
