the simple truth is that it will unfortunately NEVER happen, even if they add up EVERYTHING they make, altogether...
forever! Statistically, most people who start an online or home based business will NOT make $100 in profits, and for many...
they'll spend many times that amount in trying to make it happen.
The GOOD news? Just about everyone reading this right now has the tools, and the ability to make an easy $1000 from home just about any time they want, and while it's NOT magic, and does require a wee bit of work, it's also about the only guaranteed way I know of to make money in any economy.
(even this one) The Strategy? Actually, what you are reading right now is one permutation of this approach, only in this case, I'm NOT trying to earn a commission from this article.
But, if I was...
ALL I'd have to do is this.
(and I've done this myself far too many times to count) Pick a high converting, well known affiliate product or program with national (or international) brand recognition.
My personal rule is to ONLY use products that have an Earnings Per 100 Visitors metric of 80 or over.
(often called EPC) This means, for every 100 visitors the average affiliate sends, that affiliate should expect to make 80 dollars.
(or whatever the EPC is) (quick tip: stay away from the smaller, digital download affiliate networks and pick real affiliate programs that carry products you actually know and use in your OWN home) Register a domain name for the explicit purpose of re-directing traffic to the vendor you picked in the first step, and make certain your affiliate ID is set up for tracking and commissions) Write articles! Like this one...
only of course, on the very specific topic, niche or industry related to the product you picked, and are now promoting.
The key to this strategy is 2 fold: 1 - You DON'T want to post these articles on a blog, or on Facebook, or on your Twitter account, or that sort of thing.
Instead...
you want to use these articles to syndicate around the web to the popular article directories that get LOTS of "love" from the search engines...
giving your articles an IMMEDIATE influx of eyeballs by those searching for the solutions, like the product you are promoting.
The 2nd critical point is - be SPECIFIC.
Whenever possible, be as specific as you can be...
both relative to the product itself, and in terms of the content of the articles themselves.
Why? Because specificity sells better.
And has an obvious SEO benefit as well.
And because in my own experience, there is NO better way to dominate the search engines in a given niche than to offer very specific steps, suggestions, reviews, or otherwise...
for a pernicious problem that many are searching to overcome.
So how long will it take you to earn $1000? It depends...
but if you pick SOLID products,with great name recognition, in high volume niches, with high EPC scores, you can do it in a week, working part time for sure.
Remember...
BIG niches, with lots of competition are best! (I like those with 1 million searches a month or more...
as I've written about before, diet, dating, divorce, and those style evergreen areas are best for us) Don't think it's possible? I invite you to prove me wrong..
