How To Build A Powerful Downline By Rejecting Your Prospects!

In my early days of network marketing, I learned a small lesson that paid off big for me down the road.
It opened up the floodgates for my success, and I'll tell you how.
As I went from car to car and door-to-door like the UPS guy distributing flyers for my business opportunity, I realized I might as well have been selling a steak to a bunch of vegetarians.
The more trips I made to Kinko's to make copies of a thousand flyers, the further I went into debt with no results.
Finally, I got a response from an interested prospect.
It was a lady on the phone who said she was just "curious".
That should have been the red light, but it meant nothing to a desperate and broke newbie entrepreneur like myself.
I ignored her "curious" comment, and I proceeded to prospect her with the usual questions every upline member will teach you.
I asked her why she was interested in a home business.
I asked her what she would gain from being self-employed.
I asked her how much she felt it was possible for her to break into a six-figure income in one year.
But before I could complete my questioning, she abruptly cut me off to hang up because she wasn't "interested".
Ouch.
Wasn't I supposed to be in the driver seat? After all, I was the one qualifying HER, and not vice versa! I should have told her immediately that I'm only looking for serious people, not someone who's simply "curious".
That should have been the end of the conversation.
Here's what happened on my next prospecting call.
I got another "curious" person on the line, and I told him that I was looking for serious leaders only.
This time, I disqualified him and told him that my business was probably NOT the right fit for him.
Before I got a chance to hang up, he started firing away questions about my business.
Now, he was really curious.
He wanted it MORE since he knew how serious I was, and that he probably couldn't join my business after I made it seem scarce.
Here was my lesson, and what you as a home business owner can take from it.
Whether you like it or not, only 1% to 5% of prospects looking for a business will join your opportunity.
A whopping 97% of people that join a business drop out within the first 3 months.
In other words, statistics say you should disqualify 95% of the people you talk to because they're not going to be "fit" for your opportunity.
Find the real leaders and home run hitters for your downline.
You can then say goodbye to the whiners and complainers that do nothing to bring you results.
