    Animals

    • You can easily transform clothespins into all kinds of different animals and bugs. Paint reindeer, sheep, butterflies, dragonflies and turkeys, to name a few, and make them into magnets, playthings or Christmas ornaments. Make a butterfly by decorating a clothespin with paint, short pieces of wire for the antennae and maybe some googly eyes. Open the clothespin and place a piece of twisted tissue paper inside for the body.

    Fairies

    • Create little fairy dolls by decorating clothespins with glitter and glue. Use wire pipe cleaners to make arms and legs. Draw or paint a face on each clothespin, or cut a face from a magazine to glue on. Make wings out of tissue paper or scrapbook paper and attach to the clothespin. Add clothes by gluing on pieces of colorful feathers or ribbons to complete your doll.

    Recipe Holder

    • Paint a plain block of wood to match your kitchen decor. Paint or decorate a clothespin, and glue it to the wood. When you're ready to cook, clip your recipe to the clothespin.
