How to Draw a Two Point Perspective Bar Chart
- 1). Draw two perpendicular axis, labelled x and y.
- 2). Plot your data on the graph as you would normally do, forming vertical bars.
- 3). Mark a vanishing point to the top right corner of your graph. If you can make it above the horizon, in other words, above the height of the y axis, then you will achieve a better perspective.
- 4). Draw lines with a ruler, from the top left and right corners of the bars, to the vanishing point. Also, draw lines from any bottom corners that are visible, as well.
- 5). Gauge how deep you want the bars to be, whether they should be one inch or one half inch, and draw vertical lines defining the bars as now 3D. Finish your bar chart by erasing the excess lines and the vanishing point.
