How to Make Cammy White Gloves
- 1). Lay your hand onto a piece of paper. Draw the outline of your hand and forearm from the middle knuckle on your fingers to just below your elbow. Be sure to outline your fingers like gloves. Add one half inch to all lines for a seam allowance. Cut four of the outlines from the red vinyl.
- 2). Place the right sides of the gloves together. Sew the two sides of the gloves together with a sewing machine. Slide the gloves onto your hands to check the fit. Turn the gloves right side out.
- 3). Cut the sharp tips off of 12 of the skewers with scissors. Cut the skewers so they are short enough to fit between the wrist and the elbow. Tape six of the skewers to the inside of the gloves to add the ridges that Cammy's gloves have. Tape six to the inside of the other glove.
- 4). Cut two rounded rectangles from cardboard the same width as the tops of your hands. Cover these with vinyl and glue into place. Spear three brads into each cardboard piece. Glue the cardboard to the top of the hands part of the gloves.
- 5). Cut four circles from the foam. Make the inside of the circles large enough to fit over your arms at the elbows and the wrists. Make the outside of the circle about two inches wider than the inside. Spray paint the foam red. Allow to dry.
- 6). Glue the foam circles to the wrist and tops of the gloves. Allow this to dry before wearing the gloves.
