For those of you who have long since been broken up with their significant other, it may seem impossible to ever be able to properly heal.
Unfortunately, if you are reading this, then in your heart of hearts, you know that it won't be possible to get your ex back.
What do you do know? Will you ever move on? Will you ever get closure? The answers are simpler than you think.
Read on to find out what your next step should be if your ex doesn't want to get back together.
The next step you need to take after you have given it your all in trying to get your ex back is to accept what has happened.
Now is no longer the time to continue being in denial.
You need to accept and let go of the relationship.
If you tried to get your ex back and failed, the only closure you will ever need is the acceptance you grant to yourself that it is, in fact, over between the two of you.
In order to move on from a failed attempt of trying to get your ex back is by working on yourself.
Do not jump into another relationship right away no matter how good that "rebound" guy or girl makes you feel.
If you do jump into a rebound relationship, all you do is bring your baggage of your last relationship to your new one.
You will also be unfairly leading on the new person.
That's not very good for karma and believe me, you can use all the good karma you can get! Work on yourself in other ways as well.
Join the gym, take up a class, make new friends.
When you try and get an ex back and they deny you, it can leave you feeling deflated and unloved.
The only way to get over that is to build up your self-esteem and not let your failed attempt to getting your ex back reflect on who you are as a person.
You are still special and lovely.
You just need to get to know you again to remember how fantastic you are!
