How to Clean a BBQ Grill With Vinegar
- 1). Scrub the grates with a grill brush to remove as much grime as possible.
- 2). Fill a bucket with equal parts white vinegar and water. Dip a sponge into the vinegar mixture and wring it out.
- 3). Scrub the grill grates thoroughly with the sponge and vinegar mixture. Rinse the sponge in the bucket of cleaning solution often. For stubborn spots, use a plastic scouring pad to scrub the grates.
- 4). Dry the grates with an old towel.
- 5). Wash the inside surface of the grill lid, as well as the outside of the grill, with a rag and the vinegar mixture. Go over the surface with a dry towel to remove loosened grime.
- 6). Scrape all grease and drippings from the drip pan with a plastic putty knife. Wash the drip pan with the vinegar and water mixture and a clean rag. Dry well with a towel.
