How to Copy Website Colors
- 1). With the web page open, press you keyboard's "print screen" key.
- 2). Open the program "Paint" from the "Accessories" folder of your start menu's program list.
- 3). Paste the screen cap you copied by pressing the "control" and "v" keys.
- 4). Click on the color picker from the Tools section of the toolbar. Its icon looks like an eyedropper.
- 5). Click the part of the website's image whose color you want to copy. Paint's "color 1" box will change to the color you click.
- 6). Click the "edit colors" icon on the far right of the toolbar. The window that opens will display the color's red, green and blue components, and its hue, saturation and lightness. With this information, you can reproduce the color in any other program you want to use.
- 7). Repeat this process for the website's other colors you want to copy.
