How to Set Up a PXE Boot Acronis
- 1). Log on to the Kernel-based Virtual Machine on your computer and then open the "Virtual Machine Manager" option.
- 2). Select the "Edit" option and then click the "Host Details" option. Click the "New" option and then click the "Enable DHCP" option so that it's deselected.
- 3). Click the "Edit" option again and then click the "Virtual Machine Details" option. Click the "Boot" option.
- 4). Click the "Network" option and then click the "Boot" option. The Acronis PXE boot process will then occur.
- 5). Press the "CTRL" and "B" keys at the same time at the beginning of the boot process. Enter "config" into the command line and then press the "Enter" key.
- 6). Enter in the "IP" for a guest machine into the "next-server" field, and then enter "bootwiz.bin" into the "filename" field.
- 7). Enter "autoboot" and your booting process will be configured and resume for the computer to start up.
