How to Clean Porcelain Dish Pans
- 1). Fill your sink with warm water from the faucet. Squirt a drop of dishwashing soap into the flowing water as the sink fills.
- 2). Submerge the porcelain dishpan in the soapy water. Dip a dish sponge in the sudsy water and then use the sponge to wipe the porcelain surface. Wipe as much food residue and crumbs off the dishpan as possible.
- 3). Rinse the soapy porcelain dishpan with fresh water.
- 4). Examine the porcelain surfaces for burnt or stuck-on grime. If stubborn food fragments linger, fill the dishpan with warm water and 2 tsp. of baking soda. Let the burnt or stuck-on grime soak in the baking soda solution for an hour.
- 5). Scrape the softened food residue and fragments from the porcelain dishpan using a wooden spoon. Remove all lingering grime from the dishpan.
- 6). Rinse the porcelain dishpan with fresh water. Dry the dishpan with a dishtowel.
