How to Keep the Language Bar From Being Displayed on the Taskbar

    Hiding the Language Bar

    • 1). Right-click on the Language Bar and select "Settings."

    • 2). Open the "Language Bar" tab of "Text Services and Input Languages."

    • 3). Enable the "Hidden" option under Language Bar.

    • 4). Click "Apply."

    Retrieving the Language Bar

    • 1). Open your computer's "Control Panel" and select "Change keyboards or other input methods" under "Clock, Language, and Region."

    • 2). Open the "Keyboards and Languages" tab.

    • 3). Click "Change keyboards..." to open the "Text Services and Input Languages" options screen.

    • 4). Open the "Language Bar" tab and enable either the "Floating On Desktop" or "Docked in the taskbar" option under "Language Bar."

    • 5). Click "Apply."
