You know that if you could just get a minute to talk to your boyfriend, you know you could explain things and get him to come back to you.
Knowing this, there is a fine line you want to walk in order to get him to not only listen to you, but to seriously talk to you.
Calling multiple times a day and leaving messages is not going to work.
If anything, that will do the opposite of what you are really trying to accomplish.
What you need to do instead is provoke curiosity.
Make him think that what you have to say that is so important is not at all what he's thinking.
Get him so curious that he cannot resist picking up the phone to find out what it is you need to talk about.
Not only will this drive him so crazy and almost force him to call you, but when he does you'll have his full attention.
He'll listen to every word.
How do you do that? First of all, don't call him.
If you call him, that puts your ex in a position of power and his mind may be elsewhere.
Get him to call you, and he'll decide the best time to have a serious conversation.
By getting him to call you, he has subconsciously told himself that this is so important that he must call you, which plants the seed of realizing how important you are to him.
Make sure when you contact him to be vague.
Rather than calling his phone, dial his voice mail directly and leave a message.
Say something like, "Hey John, I'm really sorry to bother you but something came up and it's real important I talk to you.
I'm sorry I didn't catch you, but make sure you call me back when you have a few minutes and some privacy.
"
