How to Take Apart an I870 Phone

1). Hold down the "Power" button at the bottom of the phone. The phone will switch off. Remove the charger if it is connected.
2). Close the phone and turn it over so you can see the back.
3). Slide the battery release button at the bottom of the phone. The battery cover will detach.
4). Lift the battery cover off the phone and set it aside.
5). Slide a fingernail or other thin, rigid object between the bottom of the battery and the phone. Push the battery up toward the top of the phone and lift it out.
6). Slide the SIM card latch toward the right side of the phone. The latch will release.
7). Swing the SIM card latch open and slide the SIM card out of its holder.
8). Gather the SIM card, battery and battery cover.
