    How to Grout Marble Tile

    • 1). Remove the spacers from between tiles with needle-nose pliers.

    • 2). Vacuum the tiles with the hose of a vacuum cleaner or shop vac. This will remove any tile adhesive that was dislodged with removal of the tile spacers.

    • 3). Mix the grout in a clean bucket according to the package directions.

    • 4). Place some grout on the floor or other tiled surface.

    • 5). Using a float, spread the grout over a 2- to 3-square-foot area. Hold the float at a 30- to 45-degree angle to prevent it from catching on the edges of the tile.

    • 6). Hold the float at a 60-degree angle and run it back over the area to remove the excess grout from tile surface.

    • 7). Repeat this process until the entire floor is grouted.

    • 8). Allow the grout to dry for about 15 minutes, then wash the excess grout from the tiles with a damp sponge. Using a circular motion will help loosen any grout that is drying on the tile.

    • 9). Let the grout sit overnight. When the grout is dry, polish the marble tile with a clean, dry dust rag.
