    • 1). Insert the Windows Installation CD into the computer.

    • 2). Press "Start," click "Run," type "cmd" and press "Enter" to access the command prompt.

    • 3). Type "x:" and press "Enter," where "x:" with the drive letter of your CD drive.

    • 4). Type in "cd i386" and press "Enter."

    • 5). Type in "winnt" and press "Enter."

    • 6). Type in "d:\i386" and press "Enter."

    • 7). Press "Enter" and "F8" to begin the repair and accept the licensing agreement.

    • 8). Highlight the drive containing your Windows installation and press "R" to repair your GUI features.
