    • 1). Scoop up as much chocolate as possible with a paper towel.

    • 2). Pour 1 tsp. of Dawn dish soap onto a paper towel, and rub into the chocolate stain. Repeat, using fresh paper towels and soap as needed until all chocolate is removed.

    • 3). Pour 8 tsp. of water into a bowl with 1 tsp. of ammonia.

    • 4). Dip a cleaning rag into the solution, and blot over the chocolate stain to remove any remaining residue.

    • 5). Rinse the cloth with fresh water, wring out, and wipe over the stain to remove the dish soap and ammonia residue.
