A Little Bit Over There And Some Here.
As I recall. I used one of my past tips to resolve what to blog about. A little bit of mammal humor, quite catty in fact. What struggling writer wouldn't want to be the author of an epic American story novel. Ber rabbit teetotaling amongst the green gourds hidden from the sun. Spots out of his eye yonder fair young lovely maiden. Her robe a wisp of chiffon covering her form. Tis a tragic story this. Voluptious human and furry but cuddly rabbit are destined to be star crossed lovers. There in the southern garden undulates the crafty snake. Its tongue flicking here and there, scenting and judging the air.
Closer and closer it gets to the young girl. The rabbit hops frantically after the garden snake. Who poised to strike senses an attack on its being. The rabbit leaps on the snake! A snake strike missed the leg and landed on the rabbit's bob-tail.
"Oh how brave and honorable you are rabbit." The maiden sighed. "Come here Chester" A distance away in the glen a strong fieldhand straightened his back and shook his head. The brave rabbit and the maiden gazed into each others eyes. A void was crossed and their destinies were tied once and for all.
"Yes maam," Chester spoke bowing his head. Silky hands lifted the rabbit and put him in Chester's hands.
"Tell the cook I want rabbit for lunch." I so enjoy rabbit. The young maiden spoke.
Thus the story ends with a moral. We all are prey and predator. No predicting when or how long that state will hold before we change. Everyone pays attention to the beautiful but the ugly is ignored. The boundary that separates humankind from animal is too vast to be crossed. The craftsman must misdirect yet again to escape and live another day.
Thus a legend was born after a 1,000 nights in the land of Arabia.
When all else fails entertain.
