How to Remove Marker From a Wood Table
- 1). Dust the surface of the table with a soft cloth to remove dirt. Apply about 1/2 tsp. of plain toothpaste to the marker stain, using a clean cloth.
- 2). Rub the toothpaste using a soft cotton cloth, in a circular motion over the marker stain. Leave it for one to two minutes to dissolve the stain.
- 3). Wipe away the toothpaste thoroughly from the table, using a damp cloth. Firmly rub the stain in the direction of the grain of the wood, until all traces of the marker are gone.
- 4). Dry the table immediately with a soft cloth, to prevent water penetration. Rub the surface of the table, while applying slight pressure. This will give it a brilliant shine.
