How to Clean White Out
- 1). Scrape away as much of the correction fluid as possible with your fingernail. Use a spoon if necessary.
- 2). Use WD-40, Goo Gone or a window cleaner. Spray some on both sides of the fabric, rub, and let sit for about five minutes. Rinse the fabric completely with warm water.
- 3). Place a little acetone-based nail-polish remover on both sides if the stain is still there. Let sit for five minutes. Rinse thoroughly. The correction fluid should be removed at this point.
- 4). Spray or rub on a laundry stain remover, then wash the fabric according to manufacturer's directions.
- 1). Scrape away as much of the correction fluid with your fingernail or spoon. If your stain is on wood, proceed to Step 4.
- 2). Spray some WD-40, window cleaner or Goo Gone on the stain and let it sit for five minutes. Use a wet rag or soft sponge to remove the correction fluid.
- 3). Soak a paper towel or rag with acetone-based nail polish remover if the stain remains. Then lay it on top of the stain for five minutes. Remove, then rinse the stain with a clean, wet rag or sponge. The stain should be removed after this step.
- 4). Use only WD-40 or Goo Gone for wood surfaces. Spray it on a rag or paper towel. Then use that to gently rub away the stain.
