How to Make a Kid's Tent With PVC Pipes
- 1). Use four three-way connectors to connect two 36-inch pipes to two 34-inch pipes. Form a 36-inch by 34-inch rectangle with the middle hole of each three-way connector facing up. Set this rectangle on the floor.
- 2). Insert the poles of the tent by placing a 36-inch pipe in each of the open connectors that face upwards.
- 3). Construct a second 36- by 34-inch rectangle. Attach two 34-inch pipes and two 36-inch pipes using four way connectors. Connect this rectangle to the top of the tent pipes to create the square frame.
- 4). Use a three-way connector to connect two 24-inch pipes. Leave the middle hole open. Repeat this step with the remaining two 24-inch pipes into the remaining three-way connector. Connect these two pieces by inserting a 36-inch pipe into the open holes in the pipes. Attach this piece to the top of the tent using the open holes of the four-way connectors on the rectangular top of the tent frame.
- 5). Cover the tent with a tarp or sheet.
