How to Clean Mold From Household Windows
- 1). Mix a cup of laundry detergent to a gallon of warm water. In a separate container, mix one cup of bleach to a gallon of water. Pour the bleach mixture into a spray bottle. on-scented
- 2). Place a large plastic bag or plastic drop cloth on the floor beneath the window to catch any drips or spills.
- 3). Dip a scrub brush into the detergent and water mixture and use it to scrub the moldy glass vigorously. Continue dipping the brush when needed and scrub until all signs of mold are gone. Place the scrub brush in a plastic bag when you are finished.
- 4). Dry the window well with paper towels. Place the towels in a plastic bag immediately after use.
- 5). Spray the window heavily with the bleach solution. Wipe the bleach away with paper towels and dry the window as well. Discard paper towels in the plastic bag.
- 6). Tie the plastic bag up and discard it right away. Change your clothing and wash hands and arms well.
