    System Restore

    • 1). Click the Start button and then select the "All Programs" option.

    • 2). Go to the "Accessories" program group and select the "System Tools" program group.

    • 3). Select the "System Restore" option to run the utility.

    • 4). Select "Restore my computer to an earlier time" or "Choose a different restore point" option and click the "Next" button to continue.

    • 5). Choose a date from the calendar on the "Select a Restore Point" screen and then click the "Next" button to continue.

    • 6). Verify that you chose the correct restore point on the "Confirm Restore Point Selection" screen and click "Next" to start the restore process.

    • 7). Wait for the system to reboot your computer. When it starts again and the "Restoration Complete" screen is displayed, click "OK."

    Last Known Good Configuration

    • 1). Restart your computer and press the F8 key when the manufacturer splash screen appears.

    • 2). Wait for the "Windows Advanced Options" menu to appear.

    • 3). Tab down to the "Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked)" option using the down arrow key.

    • 4). Press the "Enter" key to load the operating system.
