How to Fix Missing Content on Windows Using a Registry
- 1). Click the Start button and then select the "All Programs" option.
- 2). Go to the "Accessories" program group and select the "System Tools" program group.
- 3). Select the "System Restore" option to run the utility.
- 4). Select "Restore my computer to an earlier time" or "Choose a different restore point" option and click the "Next" button to continue.
- 5). Choose a date from the calendar on the "Select a Restore Point" screen and then click the "Next" button to continue.
- 6). Verify that you chose the correct restore point on the "Confirm Restore Point Selection" screen and click "Next" to start the restore process.
- 7). Wait for the system to reboot your computer. When it starts again and the "Restoration Complete" screen is displayed, click "OK."
