    • 1). Click on the "Start" button (or Windows logo in Vista) in the lower left of the screen. Click "Control Panel," then click "Sound." Select "Classic View" before clicking "Sound" if you're using Vista.

    • 2). Click the "Sounds" tab in the "Sound" window. Scroll down to "Start Navigation" in the "Program" box.

    • 3). Click on the menu under "Sounds," scroll up to "None," and click "OK." Your Dell mouse will no longer make a clicking sound.
