How to Care for Botticino Marble
- 1). Dust mop your marble regularly to collect loose debris. Do this at least once per week to collect pebbles, crumbs and other elements that are dropped onto the floor and tracked in from shoes.
- 2). Damp mop the marble or clean with a damp rag on a regular basis. This should often be all that is required to keep the marble clean. After cleaning with the damp rag or mop, keep foot traffic and fingerprints off the marble until it is dry to get the most attractive finish.
- 3). Use either a stone cleaner safe for marble or a spray bottle filled with 2 cups water and 1 tsp. dish soap for a more thorough cleaning. Spray the soapy water or stone cleaner onto the Botticino every month or so and wipe off with a damp rag or mop. Again, let the marble air dry.
