How to Clean Embedded Soap Scum From Shower Doors
- 1). Fill an empty spray bottle with undiluted white vinegar.
- 2). Wipe the shower door with a soft towel or squeegee to dry it.
- 3). Spray the entire surface of your shower door, front and back, with the vinegar. Use a sponge to spread the vinegar in an even coat across the shower door.
- 4). Saturate the track of your shower door with vinegar.
- 5). Allow the shower door and track to soak for about 10 minutes. Use a plastic scrub sponge to scour the surface of the shower door and track. If the soap scum does not seem to be loosening sprinkle baking soda on a moistened soft sponge and use it to scrub the shower doors and track.
- 6). Rinse the shower door and track thoroughly. Wipe dry with a soft towel.
- 7). Apply a thin layer of undiluted vinegar to the front and back surface of the shower door. Allow it to air dry to a streak-free shine.
