    • 1). Log into Windows with administrative access. Press the "Windows" key and "R" simultaneously to open Run. Type "gpedit.msc" into the dialog box. Hit "Enter" to open the Local Group Policy Editor.

    • 2). Expand the folders "User Configuration," "Administrative Templates" and "System." Double-click the option "Don't run specified Windows applications" to open a new window.

    • 3). Click radio button labeled "Enable." Click "Show." Click "Add." Type "iexplorer.exe" into the dialog box. Click "OK" to exit from the "Show Contents" window.

    • 4). Click "OK" twice to confirm your settings. Restart your computer.
