How to Remove a Black Background in PowerPoint 2007
- 1). Open PowerPoint 2007. Click the "File" tab. Click the "Open" option. Locate the presentation with the black background and double-click the file name to open the slideshow.
- 2). Click the "View" tab at the top of the work area. Click the "Slide Master" button on the ribbon below the tab. All of the master slides open, showing the black background.
- 3). Click the "Background Styles" drop-down menu in the middle of the ribbon. Click the "Format Background" option to open the window of the same name with the "Fill" option selected and the "Solid Fill" radio button selected.
- 4). Click the "Color" button under the words "Fill Color," where the button is showing a black fill. Choose another colored box for a different colored background other than black. For no background, choose the white box. Although this is technically a white background, it won't show up on screen or in printouts.
- 5). Click the "Apply to All" button to remove the black background and apply any other color as chosen. Click the "Close" button. Click the "Close Master View" button to close the slide master view and return to the presentation.
