Panic Attack Treatment - How to Eat Yourself Calm

103 45
Most panic attack treatment options fail for most people.
I know this from the more than 17 years I spent looking for my own answers.
It can get to the point where you feel as if no solution exists, and that can lead to a complete loss of hope (a dangerous place to be).
But the good news is, there are things you can do, and there are things that work.
Today, I'd like to share with you one of these "things that work," and it's all to do with how you eat.
And notice that I said how you eat, not what you eat.
Too many people are focused on the foods they should be avoiding, rather than creating simple and new eating habits that promote calm and eliminate stress in the body.
If you eliminate stress in the body, the anxiety and panic will often disappear with it.
This is a key part of any panic attack treatment.
So here are 3 ways you can alter how you eat to reduce stress and anxiety.
1.
Eat small frequent meals.
Big meals bog you down and are a strain on your body.
This causes stress and anxiety.
2.
Chew your food thoroughly.
This takes the strain off your digestive system, and will allow the natural enzymes in your saliva to break your food down quickly and effectively.
3.
Eat a healthy breakfast within 20 minutes of waking.
This gets you fuelled for the day, and ends the "fast" your body was subjected to during the night.
Make these 3 simple ideas a habit and you'll be amazed at the difference they can make.
These simple steps can prove to be a vital part of your own panic attacks treatment plan.
