How to Find an IP Address on My Cisco 3750 Switch
- 1). Make sure the Cisco 3750 switch is turned on and connected to your computer. Press "Ctrl + Alt + Del" to launch the Task Manager.
- 2). Click on the "File" tab in the Task Manager and then open the "New Task (Run...)" feature.
- 3). Type the letters "cmd" to open the command line program. It will appear as a black screen.
- 4). Type the command "ipconfig -all" into the command line and press "Enter" on your keyboard. A list of all the network devices, including the Cisco 3750 switch, will appear below the command you typed in.
- 5). Locate the Cisco 3750 network switch from the list of network devices. Right under the device you will see a list of different addresses and codes for the switch, including the IP address, which is in the dotted quad format (a series of four numbers separated by periods).
