How to Get Red Jell-O Out of Upholstery
- 1). Mix 1 tsp. liquid dish soap with 1 tsp. ammonia. Do not use liquid dish soap that contains bleach.
- 2). Dip a cloth into the solution and blot it on the red Jell-O stain. Work from the edges of the stain toward the center. Use a new area of the cloth as soon as the color begins to transfer. Work until the stain no longer transfers to the cloth.
- 3). Mix 1 tbsp. liquid dish soap with 1 tbsp. white vinegar and 2 cups cool water if the stain is still visible.
- 4). Dip a cloth into the solution and blot on the stain. Work until the stain no longer transfers to the cloth.
- 5). Blot the stain with a clean, dry cloth until the liquid no longer transfers.
- 6). Blot the stain with rubbing alcohol until it is gone.
- 7). Sponge the area with cool water. Dry it completely with a clean cloth.
