How Can I Get Stickers Off of My Snowmobile?
- 1). Spray the sticker and surrounding area with WD-40. Allow the WD-40 to sit for around two minutes. The WD-40 will assist in dissolving the sticker adhesive.
- 2). Aim the hair dryer or heat gun at the sticker and surrounding area. Warm the sticker and the painted surrounding area. Do not hold the heat source too close as this may also damage the paint work. Hold the heat source roughly 1 foot away from the sticker area.
- 3). Peel the sticker slowly away from the surface as it warms. Start at one corner and peel the sticker backward.
- 4). Point the heat source on the underside of the sticker as it peels back. Remove the sticker completely.
- 5). Spray WD-40 onto the adhesive residue remaining on the snowmobile surface.
- 6). Wipe away the adhesive residue and WD-40 with a non-abrasive cloth.
