Method for Cleaning Stainless Steel
- 1). Wipe off the surface of appliances and fixtures with a lightly dampened cloth. Remove all the surface grime and dust.
- 2). Dissolve 2 tbsp. of baking soda into 1 quart of warm tap water. Pour the mixture into a plastic spray bottle set to the mist setting. To clean tableware and other small items, mix the cleaning solution in a bucket.
- 3). Spray the cleaning solution on the stainless steel surface, or dip small items and tableware in the solution. Wipe the surface or small item clean with a dampened lint-free cloth.
- 4). To remove water spots from stainless steel, dip a cloth into white vinegar. Rub the vinegar onto the spots. Allow the vinegar to soak on the spots for five minutes if necessary.
- 5). Wipe the stainless steel with clean water to remove any vinegar or cleaning solution residue. Wipe the stainless steel dry with a second cloth so that new water spots do not form.
