    • 1). Squirt liquid dish soap into a bucket. Fill the bucket with hot water to make soapy water.

    • 2). Place a clean microfiber cloth into the water. Remove and squeeze the cloth to remove excess moisture. Scrub the aluminum window frame to remove dirt and built-up residue. Continue cleaning until the frames appear to be as clean as they are going to get. If any deep stains remain, dip synthetic wool into the water and clean the frame. The synthetic wool should be used only on hard-to-remove spots and stains.

    • 3). Spray the frames with a hose to remove all soap residue. Let them air dry.

    • 4). Pour denatured alcohol onto a clean cotton or microfiber cloth, until the cloth is damp. Rub a thin, even layer of alcohol over the window frame. The denatured alcohol will work into the oxidation, causing it to dissolve. Allow the alcohol to sit on the frame for five to 10 minutes. If needed, rub more denatured alcohol until all of the oxidization is removed.
