Remove as much of the liquefied wax stain as possible with a spoon. Fill a 1-gallon plastic zip bag with ice cubes and lay it on top of the Yankee candle wax until the wax hardens. - 2). Crack the Yankee candle wax with the handle end of a table knife. Pry the wax up from your rug with your finger, removing as much of the wax substance as possible without pulling the carpet fibers.
- 3). Cut up a brown paper grocery bag into pieces that are large enough to fit over the entire Yankee candle wax stain on your rug. Place one piece of brown paper on top of the wax stain.

Heat your clothing iron to medium and move it over the brown paper in circular motions, ensuring you are rubbing over the entire Yankee candle wax stain. Change to a fresh piece of brown paper as the candle wax transfers to the first piece of brown paper bag. Continue to iron over the brown paper until no more Yankee candle wax substance transfers to the paper. - 5). Lift any greasy residue left by the Yankee candle wax stain on your carpet by pouring undiluted rubbing alcohol on a clean, soft cloth and blotting the residue. Change to a clean cloth, if needed, add more rubbing alcohol and continue to blot until you've removed all the candle wax residue and any colored dye from the Yankee candle.
- 6). Press a clean cloth into your carpet to wick up moisture. Allow your carpet to air dry.
