How to Repair an ISO in Windows XP

    • 1). Click "Start," then "Run."

    • 2). Type "cmd" in the box that appears onscreen, then press the "Enter" key on your keyboard.

    • 3). Type "chkdsk x: /f" at the DOS prompt that appears onscreen, then press "Enter." (Replace "x" with the letter of the drive containing the ISO file.)

    • 4). Press your "Y" key to confirm. Restart the computer. As the computer loads, it will repair errors on the drive, restoring your ISO file.
