Figuring out what went wrong in a relationship that's been broken off can be one of the prime obstacles standing in the way of a reconciliation.
It's not always obvious what happened, so here's Part 2 to one of my recent articles listing off some of the possible reasons why she left you.
1) Things became stale between the two of you.
When I say that, people tend to immediately think of "in the bedroom," but that's not all I mean by it.
When a relationship loses a lot of its spontaneity and becomes kind of a day-to-day routine, a lot of the "magic" can disappear.
It's smart to always try to keep the "new couple" feeling.
2) A relationship can also become overbearing, and if your ex is the one who dumped you...
that means if this is the case, it was YOU who was being overbearing.
This is what happens to "control freaks" in relationships, I'm afraid.
Until you learn to relax and stop smothering the people you love, things are going to be tough for you.
A relationship without trust simply won't work.
3) If your ex dumped you for another person, you may see yourself as having been inadequate for your ex...
that your ex just found someone better and "traded up.
"This really isn't very likely, and if your ex cared about you so little as to actually do that to you when everything was fine between you...
I don't understand how you can want someone like that back in your life.
However, more likely is that things weren't fine between you to begin with, and that made others more attractive to her.
So, if that's what happened I think you should take a closer look at the relationship and check for some of the other things I've mentioned as possible causes.
