Video: Buckeye Nut Crafts
Video Transcript
Hi, I'm Holly Silva, and I've been I've been a crafts expert for 15 years and today I'm going to show you how to make a buckeye nut craft. So, I've already begun painting it for you but I'm going to show you how to finish it using of course, any type of paint that you'd like except for I will tell you except for spray paint. You don't want to use spray paint on a foam ball because it will just eat your foam ball and it will melt the thing because of the chemicals in it. So just cover it here in dark brown. Now this is going to look exactly like the candy that you might make of course, peanut butter ball dipped in fudge or I think it's a fudge peanut butter ball dipped in milk chocolate or something, I'm not exactly sure how it's made but I'm going to cover every spot you've got there, alright. That should look nice. How does that look? Good, fun, make sure that you cover up all the green for the foam. It would be really cool if you could find a brown foam ball. I have yet to see one of those but if you happen to see one of those it will certainly cut out a lot of work for you. But make sure that the whole thing is covered so that it looks like a chocolate ball and of course, clean off your brush just a little bit and take some of the lighter color and put it on there like that. Alright, now what are you going to do with this ball? It's a very versatile craft as you can see. You can do anything you'd like with it, whatever you do, have a great time and go buckeyes.
