How to Stop Windows Autoplay

    • 1). Click on the Windows orb logo on the taskbar at the bottom of the desktop to show the "Start" menu. Select the "Control Panel" from the menu, then click on "Hardware and Sound." Click on "AutoPlay" to open a dialog box.

    • 2). Click to clear the check mark from the box next to "Use AutoPlay for all media and devices."

    • 3). Click the "Save" button at the bottom to save your changes and close the box.
