    • 1). Ensure you have loaded the film properly and that you have pulled the tab on the film completely out. Check that the film loading door is firmly closed.

    • 2). Change the batteries when the "ready" light stops glowing.

    • 3). Confirm that the camera is on and in the correct position for the environment in which you are taking the picture: indoors, outdoor sunny or outdoor cloudy.

    • 4). Cup your hand above the camera to shade it from direct sunlight if blue blotches form on the photographs.

    • 5). Get closer to the subject or use the flash if the picture is too dark. Get further from the subject or turn off the flash if the picture is too light.
