Removing Sneaker Scuff Marks on Wood Floors
- 1). Scoop 3 teaspoons of baking soda in a small bowl.
- 2). Drip water over the baking soda while stirring the two ingredients at the same time. Stop when you form a thick paste.
- 3). Spread the baking soda paste over the scuff marks on the wood flooring. Scrub the scuff marks away using a white rag, and wipe in a circular motion.
- 4). Rinse the area clean with a wet paper towel.
- 5). Wet a melamine foam eraser with warm water, and run it over any sneaker scuff marks that still remain on the wood flooring.
- 6). Pour some lighter fluid over the sneaker scuff marks if any traces still exist on the wood floor. Scrub the marks away with a white rag. Then, clean the wood floor as you normally would.
