How to Draw Cheetah Camouflage
- 1). Draw a 5-by-5-inch box on a piece of drawing paper with an ebony pencil. An ebony pencil has a dark and thick lead, which will make drawing this camouflage easier than with a regular pencil.
- 2). Add random circles, approximately 3/4-inch to 1 1/2-inch in size, all over this square on your paper. Place a few more dots towards the top of the square and leave the bottom of the square with fewer dots. Also, create circles that are not exactly even. They should look freeform and organic. Cheetahs have fewer spots on their undersides and more spots on their backs.
- 3). Draw smaller organic circle shapes between the first set of larger circles in the top one-third of your square. Make the pattern random so it will look more realistic.
- 4). Color all the circles in with the side of your pencil. Be sure they are all completely filled and dark.
- 5). Erase some of the edges of your colored circles. Use your finger to blend around some of the spots to make them look slightly uneven and jagged. This will give a more realistic cheetah camouflage.
